Application
Rubber linings are widely used in many industries due to their technical advancements that protects against corrosion and chemical impurities.
These linings offer superior resistance to abrasion, alkalis, and chemicals such as sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, sea water, hydrochloric acid, brine solutions, caustic soda, and industrial wastewater media. This makes them ideal for all types of harsh chemical environments that require efficient corrosion protection.
In addition to this, RIC provides FDA rubber for drinkable water or WRAS certified rubber, and offers both on-site and off-site applications. The following are the different types of rubber available for the lining process:
- Hard rubber (ebonite rubber) that undergoes a roasting process
- Soft rubber (IIR rubber/natural rubber) in self, pre, and nun-vulcanized form
RIC has the required expertise and experience to apply both types effectively. They also execute lining for various equipment shapes, including:
- Storage tanks
- Distilled water filters
- Reactors
- Clarifiers
- Chemical trailers
- ISO tanks
- Scrubber + stack
- Plate work (chutes)
- Condenser water box
- Impellers
- Gas tower
- Cationic, anionic, and mixed bed filters
- Surge vessels
- Pipeline
- Pumps
- Valves
- Drums
Achieve a competitive edge by importing high-quality rubber and adhering to international standards, ensuring a superior coating process that surpasses other methods.
